Form Title Bar display issues (Citrix)

We have an application using Krypton Suite 4.3.1. It is published to Citrix XenApp on a server farm (2003) to be accessed by over 800 users.

The issue I have is that the title bar of forms displayed under XenApps is not being painted as a krypton form. I know it's more of a Citrix issue however I can't find any usefull information relating to this problem.

Attached is the control box of the same form the first under XenApp the second under Windows Virtual PC (XP).

There is some other odd behaviour around colours and control placement which I have had to alter Hint to fix however the Title Bar is the most noticable.

Any help would be great.

for the titlebar to render correctly (and the ribbon integrate) you need to have the themes enabled (xp, vista/7/2008)

Thanks JKR. But where do you do that in Citrix?

as you would on a normal windows machine. enable themes. check to see if the windows themes service is enabled.
it's possible that the theme are not available because of the hardware.

The Citrix boxes are displaying other ribbon enabled programs correctly

So it looks like it is specific to VS compliled applications.

no... it's just specific to krypton controls.
if you search the forum, somewhere you'll find a reply of Phil who said that it's buggy (his method at least) to draw a custom title bar with themes disabled.

maybe in a near future Phil will add this feature.

There are a small number of issues with the custom painting of the chrome that I have never been able to fix. Other vendors seem to have done so but no matter how many times I debug the code I cannot discover the source of the issue. These range from occasional ghosting of min/max/close buttons, incorrect right-to-left drawing and incorrect resizing when maximized and restored.
