Nice article Phil.
I have some of my friends where i work who are pretty good at writing controls and want to get into this ISV business like yours of publishing controls.

I am not sure if you would leak info about yourself, but was interested to see how viable and profiatble this business has been for yourself?, considering you are full time on this, and have been doing this for a while now.

Its intersteing to see the inside notes from joel, et al, but how about yourself?
Is this business keeping you grow wealthy at all, or is this one not for all! :-)

Experts-Exchange has a scammy reputation. When you see the question page it implies you need to pay. Then scroll right down to the bottom and there are the answers. They do that so that the questions/answers appear in Google searches as your not supposed to have pages searched that need payment to access.

Im sure there are tons of tech questions/answer sites out there. Im not sure I have missed something. What has StackOverflow got that other similar site dont?

Personally i use Experts-Exchange. Its cheap and you get ridiculously quick replys to most questions. They have a good points system that benefits users when they responds. If there is a better site out there I would love to see it.
