Geert Diddens has kindly converted the C# examples provided with Krypton into VB.NET and donated them for the entire community to download. These are based on the latest 2.8.5 versions and consist of Visual Studio 2008 projects and solutions.

@Chris,
I think I know who you mean ;)… It was this guy who triggered my “conversion offer” to Phil, because I thought he had a point, allthough I fully, completely, utterly disagree with his reactions on the forum, but that’s another thing.

@Geert,
Yes, you know what I mean. I considered doing the same conversion offer but am just too busy with work and family to make a commitment I wouldn’t be able to complete.
The good thing is that in the end, the toolkit is now better and should appeal to an even wider audience. Thanks again for making the conversion and thanks to Phil for such an awesome set of controls.

@Geert,
Thanks for doing this, it’ll make it much easier to look up the source now (no in-head conversions from C# necessary anymore).
@Phil,
If Geert is agreeable, will you be able to add this to the standard MSI? It would be great to have this installed (or available for install) while installing the toolkit.

MSI, please don’t.
It’s already painful enough downloading the full package @ 28.8kbps each time there’s a new release.

@EnigmaWave
I have nothing against your proposal, allthough (I think) it would imply that Phil is somehow “responsible” for the conversion, which he isn’t….and this is not me having a problem with who get’s the credits, but I don’t want Phil to get into some kind of trouble (liability, or so) for any mistakes I have made…. Given the reaction(s) on the forum for Phil not supplying a VB.NET version of his examples, I don’t think it would be fair to Phil that he would get all the heat when a bug/misconversion or so turns up in the (VB) examples…..
